The Digital Media Arts Academy is thrilled to announce that three DMAA freshmen in the Video Production Pathway just won film awards from Directing Change in their first month at El Dorado High School! Cooper Cuya had the 2nd place video in the "What This Election Means to Me" category with his video, "A Vote For The Future" - https://vimeo.com/467698796. Katie Park earned an Honorable Mention for her video, "Living Hope" https://vimeo.com/467698192 in the Hope & Justice Category. Congratulations to the DMAA Student of the Week for the week of 10/12 - 10/18, Braden Tarka! Braden is a 4 year member of DMAA focusing his efforts in the Photography Pathway. Braden loves to listen to music, to surf, and also enjoys taking pictures of nature, the ocean and the outdoors. His AP Portfolio depicts nature's harmony promoting a positive community where everyone is loving and caring. Braden is an amazing landscape artist and we can't wait to see what he creates this year!
Congratulations to Lauren Reyes '21 for being the EDHS Digital Media Arts Academy Student of the Week for October 5-11. Lauren is a senior and a gifted artist, cinematographer and storyteller in the Video Production Pathway. She is a complete joy to work with, puts in countless hours on our weekly broadcast, Hawk Talk, helps out all of her classmates, has taken on lots of responsibilities, and serves as a great example for us all. Congrats Lauren!
