Caleb Garrett Earns Honorable Mention for OC Filmmaker of the Year

The OC Register held their reception to hand out awards to artist of the year recipients on Thursday, May 12th at the Orange County Department of Education. EDHS junior filmmaker Caleb Garrett was a finalist, and earned Honorable Mention in the filmmaking category. That puts him among the top 3 high school filmmakers in all of Orange County. DMAA Senior Night - May 19th

Big Week for El Dorado DMAA Filmmakers

In addition to the screenings at the El Dorado Film Festival on Friday April 29th, several El Dorado films were screened at other local film festival this week. On Wednesday, April 27th, the PSA "Pajamas" was part of the Archer Film Festival (hosted by J.J. Abrams) in Los Angeles. The EDHS films "One Night Stand" by Jack Massura and "Los Ninos Exploradores" by Katie Ann O'Keefe were part of the Malibu Film Festival on Friday the 29th. And, on Saturday, April 30th, the documentary "Beyond a Daut" by Caleb Garrett, Kyle Reed and Katie Ann O'Keefe, was screened as part of the SoCal Student Film Festival in Tustin.
