DMAA / ROP Students Recognized
On April 24, 2017, the “44th Annual North Orange County ROP Celebration of Success” was held at the City National Grove of Anaheim. The Celebration of Success recognized 225 outstanding 12th grade ROP students out of more than 16,000 throughout Orange County. DMAA Student Wins Grand Prize in CTIA Drive Smart Now Video Contest
A Representative from the CTIA Wireless Foundation was on campus today to present the Grand Prize award in the Drive Smart: No Distractions, No Excuses, Teen Digital Short Film Contest. Their representative flew in from Washington D.C. to present the award. This year’s grand prize winner is Digital Media Arts Academy freshman, Zach Cooper. Zach’s prize is $10,000 and his video is now featured on their website and on YouTube. (Last year’s winning video has over 500,000 view

Caleb Garret named OC Artist of the Year Finalist
EDHS Digital Media Arts Academy senior Caleb Garrett was just named a finalist for OC Artist of the Year in the filmmaking category for the second year in a row. Bert Poole to speak on Saturday
The Yorba Linda Arts Alliance Foundations would like to invite you all to attend a discussion this Saturday, April 8th, with visiting artist Bert Poole. Bert is a CG Supervisor with DreamWorks and has worked on animated films for over 20 years; such as Shrek, Shark Talk, Flushed Away, Over the Hedge, Bee Movie, How to Train Your Dragon 1&2, Megamind, The Croods and recently on The Boss Baby. Mr. Poole will be speaking at the YORBA LINDA COMMUNITY CENTER at 10am this Saturday

DMAA New Student Orientation / Welcome Night
The Digital Media Arts Academy is hosting their annual Welcome Night for new DMAA students and parents tonight, Wednesday, April 5th, at 7pm in the little theater. This is a chance for new students and their parents to learn about the program and interact with their instructors. All are welcome.
