The EDHS DMAA short film "The Spaceman" by Caleb Garrett '17 won the award for Best Cinematography at the recent Screen Film Festival, hosted by Pacifica Christian High School in Santa Monica on February 24, 2017.

Caleb worked on the film with Kyle Reed, Adam Gorny, Brian Kluver, Abdullah Ghazal and Raphael H. Perdomo.  Caleb was the director and cinematographer on the film.

2017 Yorba Linda Public Library Teen Film Festival

The Orange County Register officially announced the nominees for Orange County Artist of the Year in yesterday, and four of our DMAA seniors, Caleb Garrett, Kyle Reed, Jocelyn Cruz-Garcia, and Kaila Sahagun are among the nominees taken from throughout all of Orange County.  The top 10 nominees in each category will be announced as finalists by OC Register on April 7th.

Please congratulate DMAA Senior Geri Henderson for being one of 20 student finalists in the prestigious Photographer's Forum Best of High School Photo Contest. First place winner receives $2,000 cash award from Photographer’s Forum PLUS a SIGMA 24-35mm F2 DG HSM lens. Over 13,000 students high school photos were entered this year in this contest. Great job, Geri. We are proud of YOU!
