EDHS Senior Joeli Schwartz has been named the DMAA Student of the Week for April 29-May 3.   Joeli is the student News Director for Hawk Talk and in the most involved student in the current Honors Film and Broadcasting Class.  Joeli was recently nominated for the OC Register's Artist of the Year  in the filmmaking category and is the director of the El Dorado Film Festival being held this Friday, May 3rd.

The 2019 El Dorado Film Festival is Friday, May 3rd, at the PAC! The screening starts at 7pm but pre-show activities start at 6! This is a FREE event to watch some incredible work from the award winning EDHS video production students. The theme of this year's festival is SPACE and it will surely be a night among the stars! ALL ARE WELCOME!

The DMAA at El Dorado High School is running a full day filmmaking event on Saturday, April 27th for all new, current  and future DMAA students.  The El Dorado Film Challenge begins at 8am and teams have until 5pm to complete their music videos.  All teams will be given the same song to create a music video.  DMAA grads and Advanced Video students will be on hand to serve as mentors and possibly actors.
