DMAA Fright Fest this Friday, October 28.

DMAA students - Your Digital Media Arts Academy is hosting our 2nd ever "Fright Fest" movie screening and student video competition this Friday, October 28th from 6 to 9pm here on campus at El Dorado High School. Weather permitting, we will screen the movies outdoors in the corridor between the 800 and 900 buildings. If we have bad weather, we will move indoors to room 904.

Here is the plan:

Gallery of work from 6-6:30, and the awards will be handed out at 6:30. We will be screening Tim Burton's "The Nightmare Before Christmas" from 7-9pm. There will be popcorn for sale

Bring your own chair,pillow, or blanket to sit on.

Parents are encouraged and welcomed to come to see what a DMAA event is like,

DMAA students can bring one friend.

The fright fest competition submissions can be:

illustration/animation, video, or photo
multiple entries are allowed
spooky/halloween themed
groups are under one name
2 mins minimum- 5 mins max
Deadline for videos are Wednesday Oct. 26, and for photos and illustrations by Tuesday 25 (very soft deadline at least by the end of the day thursday)
