DMAA Students Win Awards at Courageous Persuaders PSA Contest

Two groups of El Dorado HS filmmakers won awards and scholarship money from the 2016 Courageous Persuaders PSA contest. Courageous Persuaders is a contest where students from throughout the country create and submit 30 second commercials to raise awareness about the dangers of alcohol.

One group of freshmen from the Video 1 class (Aaron Blakely, Alex Zambrano, Aiden Nguyen and Jenson Jones) won the $500 Auto Trade Award for their video, “Dance Away Alcohol”

The other group of students from Advanced Video (Caleb Garrett, Kyle Reed, and Katie Ann O’Keefe) won a $1000 scholarship for their PSA titled “Pajamas”.
