Congratulations to the DMAA Student of the Week for January 26 - February 1 is Carlee Elders. Carlee is an Advanced Graphic Design student and a designer with El Dorado's Design Rescue creative studio. Carlee has been in the DMAA Graphic Design pathway since 9th grade and continues to push the boundaries of her creative abilities. With an unceasing positive attitude, Carlee is a valuable asset to the Design Rescue team and the DMAA program.
Friday, January 24th was a big night for El Dorado's Advanced Film and Broadcasting students. The El Dorado students earned 14 nominations from the upcoming Orange County Film Festival. This is the most nominations the program has had in years! The OCFF screening will take place on February 14th and winners announced on February 15th:

The DMAA Senior of the Week is Zachary Cooper! Zach has photography in his blood! His mom has a popular portrait photography business, and he definitely has learned the tricks of the trade. Zach is the lead photographer for his church, and he is well known for his cool concert photos and high contrast black and white portraits. The EARLY ACTION APPLICATION DEADLINE to apply to El Dorado High School's Digital Media Arts and ED Law Academies is approaching on January 17, 2020. The regular application deadline is February 14th. The cutoff time for both applications is midnight (at the end of those days.). We began offering an early action application option last year.
