Fernando Nuñez Named California State and National PTA Reflections Winner

We are thrilled to share that Fernando Nuñez was honored by both the California State PTA and the National PTA on Saturday, May 2, in Fresno, as both the 2025–2026 California State Winner and the National Winner of the PTA Reflections Contest in the Accessible Arts Division.

Fernando received this recognition for his Reflections film, “My Life in Puzzle Pieces.”

Fernando’s film reflects on his journey of growth, perseverance, and finding connection. His story shows that belonging can be built through support, hard work, and the people who help us along the way.

“My Life in Puzzle Pieces” is also a nominee for Best Reflections Video at the upcoming El Dorado Film Festival, which will take place this Friday, May 8 at 7:00 PM in the PAC.
