2019 ED FILM FEST OFFICIAL SELECTIONS

Joeli Schwartz '19 is the DMAA Student of the Week for April 29 -May 3
EDHS Senior Joeli Schwartz has been named the DMAA Student of the Week for April 29-May 3. Joeli is the student News Director for Hawk Talk and in the most involved student in the current Honors Film and Broadcasting Class. Joeli was recently nominated for the OC Register's Artist of the Year in the filmmaking category and is the director of the El Dorado Film Festival being held this Friday, May 3rd.

EL DORADO FILM FESTIVAL - MAY 3
The 2019 El Dorado Film Festival is Friday, May 3rd, at the PAC! The screening starts at 7pm but pre-show activities start at 6! This is a FREE event to watch some incredible work from the award winning EDHS video production students. The theme of this year's festival is SPACE and it will surely be a night among the stars! ALL ARE WELCOME!

DMAA FILM CHALLENGE REGISTRATION
The DMAA at El Dorado High School is running a full day filmmaking event on Saturday, April 27th for all new, current and future DMAA students. The El Dorado Film Challenge begins at 8am and teams have until 5pm to complete their music videos. All teams will be given the same song to create a music video. DMAA grads and Advanced Video students will be on hand to serve as mentors and possibly actors. Students can sign up with teams in advance or just show up and join a tea

Sasha Carter '20 is the DMAA Student of the Week for April 1-5
Sascha Carter, a Junior currently in the Honor's Graphic Design class, is the DMAA Student of the Week for April 1-5. Sascha consistently demonstrates a high level of commitment to his goal of becoming a graphic designer. He approaches each project with maturity and professionalism and has a solid grasp on the creative process. As part of his honors curriculum, Sascha has designed logos and marketing collateral for local companies and nonprofit organizations. Congratulations

SUMMER PHOTO FIELD TRIPS
Join us Sunday, June 2nd for our SAN CLEMENTE/ CASA ROMANTICA Field Trip! Meet at Anaheim CANYON Train Station (NOT Anaheim Train Station) at 9:30 am (Train leaves at 10:07 am. We arrive in SC at 11:13 am). We purchase tickets for the train on the day of the event. Cost is $10 for the train ticket. Casa Romantica is free on this date.
